Lauren and Markie

Lauren Ash-Morgan is the Founding Co-Artistic Director for the new theatre company Speech of Fire and served as the Artistic Director for Seoul Shakespeare Company (SSC) from 2014 until 2019. She had been an actor and board member for SSC since 2011. She was also the producer, costume/set designer as well as a composer/musician, text coach and composition instructor for SSC when she was its Artistic Director. The last year of her tenure, she was a lighting designer and director for SSC's King Lear. She had directed from the ensemble but in this the year that she made her directorial debut. Other than acting she has been involved in a variety of game-based series. Daughter of poet Marylee Post and scientist Richard F. Post she was raised alongside two children in Walnut Creek. Las Lomas High School in Los Angeles was her high school that she chose to attend. She participated as a cheerleader. She attended Pomona College for a short time and then was graduated in Lewis & Clark College, both of which are located in Oregon. The previous marriage she had was to Stephen Knox. Michael A. Ross has been her husband and co-writer since 1982. They share two daughters. Post is an excellent actress, ideal wife and mom and she is a role model to several Hollywood celebrities.
